- Can’t you make one for less than $100/for free?/ What is your cheapest doll?
First of all, just a reminder that these questions (above) are very rude to ask an artist, if you ask me these or similar questions as listed above I am likely to not respond. Referring to an artists work as ‘cheap’ even when just inquiring about a price can be considered rude. I as well as all the other artists I know work very hard putting our personal time and heart into each unique piece that is created.
The simple answer is no, the supplies to make a quality reborn are expensive and time consuming to make, unless I am having a very special giveaway there will be no “free” dolls from me. My lowest priced reborn would start at $350
- I’m 12, 15, 17, ect. and I would like to buy a doll, can you sell me one?
Unless your parent or legal guardian is making the arrangements I cannot sell to anyone under the age of 18
- Do you take custom orders?
No I no longer take any custom or private orders.
- Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I do offer payment plans! My basic plan is $150 non-refundable deposit with payments no less than $75/month (each payment made is also considered non-refundable) Plans can also be customized to pay off a doll quicker. Doll will only be sent once the final payment is received.
- How much do one of your babies cost?
My babies price start at $350.00 Canadian Dollars, prices may differ depending on size of kits, limited edition kits, and cost of supplies. Shipping will be added to the price of the doll.
- How long have you been a reborn artist?
I completed my first baby (Ryan) on January 21, 2012
- How long does it take to make a reborn doll?
It takes me a minimum of 4-8 weeks to create a newborn size (about 19-20″) doll once the kit is received. More than one or larger babies will take longer to complete.
- Why are your prices so high? They are just dolls
Please keep in mind these dolls are each unique hand painted pieces of collectors art, each hair goes in one at a time. A lot of work, love, time (40+hrs per doll) and high quality supplies are put into each doll which effects the price
